Parts of Speech
There are eight parts of speech in a English language.
1) Noun
2) Pronoun
3) Adjective
4) verb
5) Adverb
6) Preposition
7) Interjection
8) Conjunction
1) Noun:
A noun is the name, place, animal and things.
E.g_ college, house, Rohan, mumbai
2) Pronoun:
A pronoun is a word used in place of a noun.
E.g_she, we, they, it.
3) Adjective:
An adjective describe a noun or pronoun.
E.g_ pretty, old, smart, young.
4) Verb:
A verb express action and being.
E.g_ jump,write,eat,play.
5) Adverb:
An adverb describe a verb .
E.g_ gently, carefully, well, very.
6) Preposition:
A preposition is a word placed before a noun to from a phrase describe another word in the sentence.
E.g_ by, with, about, until.
7) Interjection:
An Interjection is a word used to express emotions.
E.g_ oh! Wow! Oops!
8) conjunction:
A conjunction joins words,phrase,or clauses.
E.g_ and, but, or, because.
