Kind of sentence
The sentence is generally defined as a word or a group of words that expresses a idea by giving a statement or asking question or exclaiming.
There are four (04) types of English sentence.
01) Assertive sentence
02) Imperative sentence
03) Interrogative sentence
04) Exclamatory sentence
01) Assertive sentence:
Assertive sentence make a statement.they tell us something and end with a full stop.
E.g 01) I want to be a good writer.
02) He is a good boy.
02) Imperative sentence:
\An imperative sentence gives a command or makes a request. It usually end with a full stop.
E.g 01) please sit down.
02) Please leave your footwear outside.
03) Interrogative sentence:
An interrogative sentence ask a question. This type of sentence often begins with who, what,where,how or do and it ends with question mark.
E.g 01) When are you going to turn in your writing assignment?
02) Do you know what the weather will be tomorrow?
04) Exclamatory sentence:
\An exclamatory sentence is a sentence that expresses great emotions such as surprise, happiness,and anger and end with exclamatory mark.
E.g 01) I got an a on my book report!
02) What a nice weather!
